Course Information
Oceanic Procedures Online Course starts with MNPS Operational Approval and Systems Requirements. The course then focuses on the Organised Track System (OTS) and Flight Planning for MNPS Airspace. The course also covers MNPS Oceanic ATC Clearance including Obtaining an Oceanic Clearance, Contents of an Oceanic Clearance, Errors Associated with an Oceanic Clearance. The Oceanic Communicatins in MNPS Airspace section of the course includes HF Communications, SELCAL, Position Reports, Meteorological Reports, Communication Failure Procedures, Transponder Operation, Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS). Flight Operations and Navigation Procedures sections of the course address Pre-Flight / In-Flight / Special In-Flight and Post-Flight Procedures. Finally, Navigation System Degradation, Special Procedures for In Flight Contingencies and RVSM Procedures on the North Atlantic topics take place in the content of the course. A summary of North Atlantic MNPS Procedures are presented for you at the end of the course.
