ATC COMMUNICATIONS – RADIOTELEPHONY

Course Information

ATC Communication / Radiotelephony Online Course starts with an overwiev of definitions. The course then focuses on General Operating Procedures including Transmission technique, letters, numbers, wording and phrase standards, call signs, communication test, reliability, radar procedure phraseology, level changes, conditional & reports etc. The course also includes Communication Failure and Distress & Urgency with an emphasis on pan-medical, distress, urgency. Relevant Weather, Morse Code and ATC Phraseologies are other sections where Aerodrome weather, description of levels, area control services, approach control services, phraseology of aerodrome, coordination between ATS Units are discussed. Radiotelephony course also looks at ATS Surveillance Service Phraseologies including General ATS Surveillance Service Phraseologies, Radar in Approach Control Service, secondary surveillance radar (SSR) and ADS-B Phraseologies topics. The course is finalized with Automatic Dependent Surveillance –Contract (ADS-C) Phraseologies, Alerting Phraseologies and Ground Crew / Flight Crew Phraseologies.
