Course Information

This course meets or exceeds the requirements of the civil aviation authorities for an initial or recurrent course for the Boeing 747 Fuel Systems. An excellent use of animations to depict the components, operation, and indications of the fuel systems are presented in this course. Included in this program are the following items of the fuel systems: First the fuel storage systems are discussed which review the location of fuel tanks within the aircraft. An in depth discussion of the fuel feed system components, their operation in a normal or abnormal condition to include fuel pumps, the jettison system, the horizontal stabilizer pumps, the fuel scavenge system, the cross feed system, the transfer system, and the APU fuel system and a review of the fuel quantity and temperature indications for normal and abnormal conditions.
