Course Information
Ground direction finder is a system which is used to determine the aircraft bearing from a ground station based on the radio transmission received by the aircraft. Ground direction finders are intstalled at a number of airfield control towers and Flight Service Stations. This allows ATC operators to providing steering, bearing and homing information to pilots requesting the service. Courses are constantly monitored and updated when major changes in authority documentation is released.
