Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT) mishaps remains one of the largest threats to aviation today. In the CFIT Online Course, the course covers the definitions and terms related to CFIT mishaps. The course covers the history of the development of systems, like GPWS and EGPWS, that are used to avoid this type of incident.
